Die Zusammenfassung des 24-Stunden-Rennens von Le Mans 2007 auf DVD.
Le Mans, the world’s greatest endurance race, is always an awesome test of skill and stamina – and the 75th running provided the best drivers, cars and teams with the most extreme challenges.
Now you can re-live every pulsating moment of thundering racing with the Official Le Mans 2007 Review from Duke.
Victory went, once again, to the dominant Audi team – which has now won seven of the last eight Le Mans competitions – with exactly the same driver line-up as 2006! But the result does not give the full picture of an amazing, action-packed 24 hours of racing.
The official review brings you the true story, and all the behind-the-scenes drama, in an action-packed 138 minutes of extreme on-track racing from the gruelling Circuit de la Sarthe.
Le Mans 2007 features all the on-track action, unrivalled access to teams, drivers and pits, plus the unique atmosphere that attracts so many fans to Le Mans year after year.
As ever, the race attracted some of the biggest names in motorsport, including Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen, Sebastien Bourdais, Frank Biela, Emanuele Pirro, Marco Werner and Jacques Villeneuve, the Canadian bidding to become only the second man in history to achieve the ‘triple crown’ of the Formula One title, Indianapolis 500 and Le Mans.
Plus, the official review includes a fascinating hour-long documentary charting the Binnie Motorsports’ 2006 Le Mans campaign, packed with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews, and highlights of the final qualifying session from this year.
More than 250,000 fans made the trek to Northern France for the unique Le Mans experience, and even heavy rain couldn’t dampen these diehard enthusiasts spirits. They were treated to a dramatic and eventful race, which saw almost half the field of 54 starters fall by the wayside.
With the chequered flag in sight, the challenge of the Number Two Audi R10 which had led from the start came to an abrupt end against the trackside tyre barrier. That allowed the team’s Number One R10 to take over at the front and take the win after 369 laps, and more than 3,000 miles.
The Peugeot 908s took the challenge to the Audi team, shadowing the R10s throughout.
The heavens opened in the final hour, a torrential downpour bringing flooding, chaos and a final drama to proceedings.
The official review captures every history-making moment and is the definitive record of Le Mans 2007.
